Penni Sturgill has been on the PGA WEST Master Association Board of Directors since 2014. She chairs the Landscape/Hardscape Committee, and is a member of the Landscape Oversight ad hoc Committee.
Prior to her election to the Board, Penni worked closely with the Master Association to design, budget and manage the recent painting and landscaping projects at the Nicklaus, Palmer and Stadium residential gate houses.
She has been serving, at the request of the Master Association Board, as a homeowner liaison to the Signature (formerly Eden Rock) and their developer, Cal West Communities.
Over the past few years, Penni has been involved in major landscape projects within the PGA WEST community. In 2012, she assisted in designing and managing the installation of the Legends fountain and cart path. In 2014, she assisted in designing and managing the installation of The Signature perimeter wall. Currently, she is working with Monterra, the new developer in the Norman neighborhood, representing both the Master Association and Fairways Homeowners Association.
Penni has served on the Master Association Landscape Committee since 2013, and has been on the Fairways Homeowners Association Landscape and Finance Committees since 2010. She has represented homeowners for the Summit Special Benefits Area in the Fairways Association since 2007.
Before moving to La Quinta, Penni spent 20 years in sales and marketing for a national company selling office furniture, printing and supplies. There, she developed multi-million dollar contracts for many hospitals and utilities. She also worked as a residential mortgage banker and broker for the largest privately owned bank in Seattle, Washington.
Penni and her husband Dan are avid golfers at PGA WEST. She has played on the Ladies gross and net golf team since 2012. In the off season, Penni and Dan live in Washington state.
