The Committee provides oversight of the landscape/hardscape upgrade project within the Association's purview. These upgrades will form the basis of the Association's long-term landscape renovation plans. These renovation plans focus primarily on landscaping along PGA Boulevard, as well as the entry to PGA WEST at Avenue 54. The long-term renovation plans will also include landscaping along the exterior perimeter walls of PGA WEST.
The Committee will be guided by the Vision Statement of the Landscape/Hardscape Committee, adopted by the Master Association Board at its November 2014 meeting: "To enhance the aesthetic value of PGA WEST, by balancing architectural and landscape design with environmental sustainability."
The landscape architect will serve as a consultant to the Landscape Oversight Committee and will provide recommendations and guidance to the Master Association Board throughout the landscape renovation project. The Landscape Oversight Committee will review the landscape architect candidates and recommend one of them to the Board for its approval.
Michelle Howard, Master Association General Manager, is assigned as Management support to this committee.
Because this is an ad hoc committee, established for a specific purpose, its meeting schedule and location will vary over the duration of the project.
