The PGA WEST development is nearly 30 years old, and so are many of our Association’s governing documents. A major Board initiative is to review and update the Master Association’s CC&Rs and Bylaws, and make sure they conform to all changes over the years in the California Civil Code. The updated Governing Documents should reflect a mature community, not a community under development, which was the case when the documents were originally written in the mid-1980s.
The ad hoc Governing Documents Committee will provide input and recommendations to the Board of Directors regarding changes and improvements to the Association’s governing documents.
Because this is an ad hoc committee, established for a specific purpose, its meeting schedule and location will vary over the duration of the project.
Committee minutes are posted to this website after they’re formally approved and signed by the Committee, and then accepted by the Board. This Board approval generally occurs at the next regularly scheduled Board meeting. For example, Committee minutes from October will likely be approved at the November Board meeting, then posted within one week of their approval.
